Tribal I
A sand cast glass series inspired by African and Oceanic culture, artefacts and masks.
The sculptures as shown here are suspended and connected to the ground with natural rope referring to a reality between heaven and earth.
The contrast between textured and polished surfaces of the glass in combination with metals or natural rope evokes a sense of rawness and transports the viewer to a time of ancient civilisations.
